 It is widely accepted that the compatibility of products
on the press is essential for quality, trouble free printing and with this in mind Brissett sought a
range of quality products to fit this criteria.
With a philosophy of never compromising on quality with rollers dating back to our inception it
was imperative that we continued this over into our consumables. Any products considered were
thoroughly researched to ensure the Brissett name was enhanced.
Brissett Rollers, like any responsible company, have environmental issues high on the agenda and
will encourage and assist printers to follow this path without compromising their quality or adding
to their costs.
With demands placed on printers for improved quality, environmental considerations and lower
costs, the choice of materials and the fine tuning of the process are imperative if the printer is to
remain competitive.
Whether running with alcohol, reduced alcohol or alcohol free, the aim should be to run with the
lowest possible water so the compatibility of ink and fountain solution is vital with the results
being sharper, brighter print and savings in reduced ink and fountain solution.
To continue printing with consistent quality, a regular maintenance program needs to be
implemented. Washes, deglazers and other press aids need to be compatible and effective.
At Brissett much of this evaluation has been done in advance and assurances of compatibility can
be given prior to start up, reducing wastage and costly unsuccessful trials.
The fountain solution range compliments the inks, enhancing the quality and reducing costs through
lower usage and less waste.
Extensive in house and external testing with our own products as well as others available have
taken away the need for the printer to do on press experimentation, removing a lot of heartache and
improving that all important bottom line.
