Even prior to our opening in 1960 Brissett had the philosophy of innovation and continued improvement.

During these early years it was apparent that if the rapidly developing printing industry was to be serviced from within Australia we had to look beyond the traditional rollers that had served well through the first half of the century.

With the support of suppliers such as Bayer from Germany and DuPont from the USA we were able to develop roller compounds and rollers which performed well on the new “high speed” presses arriving in Australia.

This desire for innovation and improvements is even more important today we not only have to keep up with press and consumable changes but enable printers to be competitive with their existing equipment.

We realise as well as anyone that the printing industry now competes with a myriad of other communication systems and to be competitive must supply the highest quality at the best price. We need to support them with workable solutions to do this.

Our relationship with roller, blanket and chemical companies throughout the world has been invaluable to us in pursuing our role as solution provider and our hands on approach ensures that these solutions can be arrived at quickly, not with the 5 to 10 year research before releasing advocated by some companies. In these days of rapid change we need to able to adapt promptly.
