ROLLER SYSTEMS
Exchange
The exchange service is expressly designed to get the rollers on your press faster. We supply the
new roller and provided you return a shaft, in good condition, within 30 days, you only pay for the
rubber.
Re-Cover Service
Recovering of the customers own cores may be the preferred option. In these cases the cores
(shafts) are inspected and repaired if necessary to ensure that the re-covered roller is as new.
Complete Rollers
Many printers opt to keep some spare rollers on site, we are able to supply new rollers for this
purpose, with or without accessories.
Press-Ready
As the name implies, these rollers are supplied ready to put straight into the press, including
all accessories. All parts are manufactured to OEM specifications and assembled accordingly.
A rebate is given on return of the exchange Press-Ready roller.
ROLLER SERVICES
Crowning and Grooving
Ensure that your rollers run at equal pressures.
Features
- Computerised equipment to produce specific crown and groove profiles
- Capable of threading, chevron, diamond, spiral, ruling and spreader patterns.
Dismantle and Re-Assemble
Should the preferred option be to use the existing internal shafts and accessories, we offer a
dismantling and re-assembly service replacing parts where necessary. Costing depends on the
complexity of the roller and the number of parts replaced.
Re-Grinding Service
When dimensional tolerances allow, a roller may be reground, providing a cost-effective
alternative to recovering. It must remembered that this can only be successfully done if the rubber
itself is in good condition.
